Wesley Shelter receives $25,000 Neighbor of Choice grant from
Merck Wilson

Rob Ferrell, Community Outreach Lead of Merck Wilson, presents the $25,000 Neighbor of Choice Grant to Lynne White, Wesley Shelter Executive Director. The grant will support a Nurse/Health Educator for Wesley Shelter, the domestic and sexual violence response agency in Wilson County. The Neighbor of Choice program's mission is "to strengthen the relationship between Merck and its local communities by supporting outstanding work by nonprofit organizations that strive to improve the quality of life of people in communities in which Merck resides and operates."

Services
Emergency shelter is available to women and children in need. Residents of the shelter many resources available to them.
Support Groups
Weekly support groups for those who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault, as well as individual counseling, is available to those who need it.

The Wesley Shelter provides a range of services for children whose parents have experienced Domestic Violence.

The Wesley Shelter provides court advocacy for clients involved in civil or criminal cases as a result of experiencing domestic violence or sexual assault.
